We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Manager to take complete ownership of end-to-end operations for Bangalore and play a critical role in scaling Freedo into the largest two-wheeler rental platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for professionals who enjoy building and running city operations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead end-to-end Bangalore operations , covering growth, execution, and performance
Study local market dynamics and area-wise demand to plan city operations
Drive and grow city revenues with complete ownership of P&L
Ensure an excellent customer experience with a 360-degree operational view—from customer care to field executive safety
Manage administrative functions and continuously improve operational processes and reporting systems
Hire, train, and manage the Bangalore team; assign targets, design incentive plans, and support career development
Build and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders, including:
RTO for registrations and regulatory clearances
City & Traffic Police for operational coordination and issue resolution
Metro stations, bus stands, airports, and railway stations for partnerships and demand generation
Colleges, malls, hospitals, and theatres for parking and visibility
Define and execute the Bangalore growth strategy with strong on-ground implementation
Lead multi-layered operations teams by setting goals and incentive programs
Launch cost-effective offline marketing campaigns to increase city-level awareness
Step in as an active team member whenever required
Act as the single point of contact for all Bangalore-related project communications
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience managing operations in a rental or shared mobility company is highly desirable
Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills
High ownership mindset with a hands-on approach and execution-driven attitude
Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and operate in ambiguous environments
Demonstrated success in achieving targets through planning, execution, and team leadership
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office , especially MS Excel , with the ability to prepare and share periodic reports
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in field operations within the rental, shared mobility, or automotive industry (strongly preferred)
B.Tech or MBA with a strong academic background
Proven experience in ground operations, sales, and marketing , consistently delivering business results
Experience managing teams of 10+ members , including in-house and external teams
