Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, confident, and strategic Vertical Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy for Quest Global's Energy vertical. This is not an order-taking role. It is a leadership position for someone who anticipates needs, influences stakeholders, and drives integrated Account Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives that accelerate growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic mindset, exceptional collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to translate market insights into bold, actionable plans that elevate our brand and deepen engagement with high-value accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vertical Ownership
- Own and lead the development of a comprehensive Energy vertical marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, driving measurable increases in brand visibility, engagement, and pipeline growth.
Act as the strategic marketing leader for the vertical by proactively identifying opportunities, shaping priorities, and influencing cross-functional decision-making.
Serve as a trusted advisor to sales, leadership, and delivery teams, ensuring marketing strategy is tightly integrated with business goals.
ABM Strategy & Execution
- Lead the design and execution of sophisticated ABM programs tailored to high-value accounts, using personalized, insight-driven approaches to increase conversion rates and accelerate revenue.
Partner with sales to define target account lists, co-create engagement strategies, and drive alignment across the full customer lifecycle.
Champion a test and learn mindset, using data to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Influence
- Collaborate closely with Research, Sales, Delivery, and Corporate Marketing to ensure cohesive messaging and unified go-to-market execution.
Facilitate strategic planning sessions, bringing forward market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to shape vertical priorities.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a connector and leader across teams.
Content Leadership & Thought Leadership
- Lead the creation of compelling, insight-driven content, including case studies, white papers, webinars, and executive-level messaging that positions Quest Global as a trusted partner in the Energy sector.
Identify opportunities for thought leadership and industry engagement to elevate the vertical's presence in the market.
Performance Optimization & Insights
- Analyze campaign performance, pipeline impact, and account engagement to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Establish KPIs and dashboards that clearly communicate progress, learnings, and opportunities to leadership.
Growth & Integration Initiatives
- Support the integration of acquired entities by shaping vertical positioning, messaging, and branding strategies.
Identify and share best practices across verticals to strengthen organizational marketing maturity and consistency.
Work Experience
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on ABM and vertical or industry-specific marketing.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Strong understanding of ABM methodologies, tools, and performance metrics.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to analyze data, extract insights, and translate them into strategic recommendations.
