Job Description
Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-ownership Team Lead / Business Development Manager to lead, coach, and scale our sales team . This role combines people leadership + individual revenue accountability . You’ll be responsible for driving team performance, improving conversions, and building a disciplined, high-energy sales culture. This is not a pure managerial role , you will stay close to calls, numbers, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Revenue Ownership
Own daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets for the Hindi sales team.
Drive enrolments through hands-on coaching, live call audits, and deal closures .
Actively participate in high-value or stuck closures to unblock revenue.
Team Management & Coaching
Manage a team of 5-7DAs/Sr.BDAs (size may scale).
Coach team members on:
Discovery & needs analysis
Objection handling
Program positioning
Closing techniques
Identify low performers early and create clear improvement plans .
Funnel & Process Discipline
Ensure strict adherence to the sales funnel:
Lead assignment → Counselling → Demo → Follow-ups → Closure
Track and improve conversion metrics at every stage.
Maintain clean CRM hygiene across the team and ensure timely follow-ups.
Feedback & Cross-functional Collaboration
Share regular feedback on:
Lead quality
Marketing alignment
Program objections & market signals
Culture & Ownership
Set the tone for high accountability, urgency, and ethical selling .
Lead by example with discipline, empathy, and performance mindset.
Ideal Candidate Profile
2–5 years of B2C EdTech sales experience .
Proven history of consistent target achievement (individual + team).
Excellent coaching, people management, and conflict-handling skills.
Data-driven, organised, and comfortable managing high lead volumes .
Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup environment.
Compensation
Up to ₹10 LPA + 3 LPA (Variable)
Fixed + Team-based & Individual Performance Incentives

Bangalore (HSR office)
Mode: Work From Office
Working Days: 6-day work week
