Technician - BMS

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical System Expertise :
Perform highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of various electrical systems, including those related to heating, refrigeration, motors, fire alarms, and generator equipment.
Installation & Maintenance:  Install, test, inspect, maintain, service, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, wiring, and specialized electrical equipment and machinery.
Tool Operation:  Safely and efficiently operate power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.
System Construction & Maintenance:
Construct and maintain service equipment and accurately read electrical circuit diagrams.
Material & Supply Management:  

Requisition materials and supplies from the stockroom, communicate with vendors to discuss parts and supply needs, and recommend purchases and suppliers.
Power Management :
Transfer primary power from one source to another, install conductors, splice cables, build terminations, and handle necessary hookups for primary power lines.
Line Work :
Set poles, string overhead lines, and perform overhead line maintenance.
Conduit & Low Voltage Installation:  Lay underground conduit for electrical lines and install low-voltage electric lines and conduit for telephone systems.
Cross-Functional Support:  Be prepared to undertake other trade work incidental to electrical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role, with a strong focus on maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
Proficiency in operating power hand tools and specialized electrical equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
