Field Coordinator – Crop Insurance & Crop Cutting Experiments (CCE)
Qualification Graduation:
Preferably in Agriculture or relevant fields such as Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences.
Experience 2–5 years of relevant field experience in:
Crop Cutting Experiments (CCE)
PMFBY / Crop Insurance implementation
Agricultural field surveys and crop assessment
Crop health monitoring and risk assessment
Field team coordination and supervision
Job Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise fieldwork like Crop Cutting Experiments (CCE) and crop image collections as per prescribed guidelines.
Conduct and/or supervise field visits for crop assessment, crop health monitoring, and yield estimation .
Coordinate with Agriculture Department officials, district/tehsil administration, insurance companies, and other stakeholders for smooth implementation of crop insurance activities.
Manage field staff, including manpower planning, recruitment, training, deployment, and performance monitoring .
Ensure accurate and timely collection, verification, and reporting of field data.
Identify and report field-level risks, crop damage, and deviations in crop conditions.
Maintain proper documentation, records, reports, and field activity updates.
Ensure adherence to project guidelines, timelines, quality standards, and field protocols.
Travel extensively within assigned districts/regions for field inspections and related activities.
Required Skills Strong understanding of agriculture and crop production practices .
Practical knowledge of CCE procedures and crop yield estimation .
Comfortable with extensive field travel .
Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and mobile-based field data collection tools .
Ability to work independently and manage field operations within deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with prior experience as a CCE Supervisor, Field Coordinator, Tehsil Coordinator, District Coordinator, Crop Insurance Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, or Field Operations Executive will be preferred.
Experience with insurance companies, PMFBY implementation agencies, agricultural survey organisations, Agri-insurance companies, or agricultural field projects will be an added advantage.
Key Requirement Hands-on experience in Crop Cutting Experiments (CCE) and field-level crop insurance/PMFBY implementation is mandatory.
