Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency program seeks a dedicated family medicine physician to serve as Residency Director in Bangor, Maine
. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of family medicine in a supportive, community‑focused academic environment.

• 10‑10‑10 ACGME‑accredited residency program with Osteopathic Recognition
• Full‑spectrum family medicine curriculum including excellent inpatient and outpatient experience in obstetrics and pediatrics, as well as a range of specialty clinics and unique elective rotation opportunities
• Faculty: 11 family physicians, 1 pediatrician, 1 pharmacist, 1 family nurse practitioner, 2 certified nurse midwives, and an integrated behavioral health model led by a psychologist
• Cooperative relationship with all other GME programs: ONMM3, Psychiatry Residencies, and Hospice Medicine Fellowship

• Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP)
• Eligible for a Maine medical license
• At least 5 years of faculty experience required; GME program leadership experience as an Associate Program Director preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Desire to lead a multidisciplinary team
