Husson University seeks an accomplished and visionary leader to serve as Dean of the College of Business. The Dean will provide strategic leadership for the University's largest college, overseeing academic programs, faculty development, accreditation efforts, enrollment growth, industry partnerships, and student success initiatives. The successful candidate will be committed to advancing innovative education, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, and strengthening connections with the regional and national business communities.

The College of Business is housed in the Harold Alfond Hall. The Harold Alfond Hall stands as the academic centerpiece of Husson University's campus and reflects the University's commitment to innovation, excellence, and student success. Opened in 2021 through the generosity of the Harold Alfond Foundation, the state-of-the-art facility houses classrooms, laboratories, collaborative learning spaces, and faculty offices that support programs across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

The Dean of the College of Business serves as the academic, strategic, and administrative leader for the College of Business including the School of Business and Management, School of Legal Studies, School of Technology and Innovation, New England School of Communications. The Dean provides visionary leadership for academic programs, faculty excellence, accreditation, enrollment growth, external partnerships, fundraising, and operational management. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean serves as a member of Deans' Council and collaborates with academic and administrative leaders to advance the mission, strategic priorities, and brand of the University.

The Dean is responsible for fostering innovation across business, communications, technology, leadership, and workforce development disciplines. The position seeks a dynamic and visionary leader who can ensure academic quality, enhance student success, develop successful partnerships, and ensure programs remain relevant to evolving industry needs.

The Dean serves as a key liaison among faculty, staff, students, alumni, donors, community organizations, and industry partners while promoting a culture of collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership and Vision

* Develop and implement a dynamic and strategic vision for the College that aligns with the University's mission and strategic plan.

* Lead innovation and growth initiatives that respond to emerging trends in business, communications, technology, and workforce development.

* Foster interdisciplinary collaboration among academic programs and across the University.

* Increase regional and national visibility through professional engagement and external partnerships.

* Cultivate relationships with alumni, employers, industry leaders, and community organizations.

* Represent the College to University administration, trustees, accrediting agencies, and external stakeholders.

2. Academic Leadership and Accreditation
