Graduate Counseling And Human Relations Program Adjunct Faculty Pool
The College of Science and Humanities at Husson University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool in the Graduate Counseling and Human Relations Program. This posting will remain open for up to one year to build a pool of qualified candidates who may be considered for future teaching opportunities as program needs arise.
The Graduate Counseling and Human Relations Program prepares future counseling professionals for careers in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. We seek educators and practitioners who are committed to preparing ethical, reflective, and culturally responsive counselors through engaging instruction, mentorship, and supervision.
Assignments may include day, evening, hybrid, or online courses, though many opportunities involve instruction and supervision on Husson University's Bangor campus.

Additional teaching opportunities may arise within the counseling curriculum. Applicants are encouraged to indicate areas of teaching expertise, clinical specialization, and interest in supervising practicum and internship experiences.
Qualifications- A doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision is preferred.
- A doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field may be considered.
- A Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) or other advanced professional credential may be considered in appropriate circumstances.
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related discipline is required.
- Relevant clinical experience and professional licensure are strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching graduate students, supervising counselors-in-training, or mentoring professionals is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, and student-centered instruction.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
