Responsibilities and Qualifications- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the Pre-Kindergarten
- Develop academic, social, and emotional skills for each individual student
- Experience working with students who have Autism and emotional disabilities is preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans is necessary
- Ability to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans
- Strong understanding of special education state and federal regulations
- Knowledge of Special Education Part C and school-based services
- Experience in implementing research-based teaching methodology based upon diagnostic needs assessment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software.
- Willing to work collaboratively with colleagues
- A willingness to contribute to the total school functioning is preferred
