Husson's College of Business is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in future part-time teaching opportunities in accounting and business. Such opportunities are dependent upon the needs of the University. Assignments may require teaching online, day or evening classes as needed. Applications are reviewed as instructional needs arise. After the posting closes, applications may continue to be reviewed from the established pool based on departmental needs.

Teaching assignments are dependent upon factors such as student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities.

• Teaching courses in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters in the School of Business & Management
• Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed
• Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods
• Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G-Suite applications, and the faculty portal.
• Assessing and reporting student performance

Education: An earned Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required;
Ph.D. preferred. Experience: Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs. Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team.

• Occasionally move, transport, or position instructional materials and equipment.

Visual Requirements Must be able to read, prepare, evaluate, and review a variety of materials in both electronic and printed formats, and observe student activities as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in instructional, laboratory, clinical, office, or remote learning environments, depending on course assignment and modality. The position may require evening, weekend, or off-site instructional activities.

Compensation

Compensation is based on academic credentials, course assignment and course enrollment. Undergraduate Courses

• Master's Prepared:
  Up to $933.33 per credit hour*
• Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:
  Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour*

Graduate Courses

• Master's Prepared:
  Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour*
• Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:
  Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour*

* Compensation is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the assigned course.
