Educational Technician II or III certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Support students' self help, social, and behavioral development Maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines Experience working with young children preferred Ability to use ABA Discrete Trial instruction preferred Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities and Autism preferred Willingness to assist with feeding/toileting may be necessary Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies Provide small group and one on one student support Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess and meal times Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials and daily routines Knowledge of behavior-management strategies is necessary Ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans needed Pay: $21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience
