Overview

Ed Tech II or III - PreK, Special Education at Abraham Lincoln School.

Schedule:

8:30 AM – 3:45 PM. Educational Technician II or III certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

• Support students' self-help, social, and behavioral development.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines.
• Provide small group and one-on-one student support.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and meal times.
• Knowledge of behavior-management strategies; ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans as needed.
• Willingness to assist with feeding/toileting may be necessary.
• Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies.

• Educational Technician II or III certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Experience working with children with emotional disabilities and autism preferred.
• Ability to use ABA Discrete Trial instruction preferred.
• Knowledge of program operations in Pre-K or special education settings preferred.

• $21.47 - $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience
