Position
Ed Tech II or III – Abraham Lincoln School
Pre‑K, Special Education
Schedule8:30 AM – 3:45 PM
CertificationEducational Technician II or III certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Responsibilities- Support students’ self‑help, social, and behavioral development
- Maintain a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines
- Provide small group and one‑on‑one student support
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and meal times
- Knowledge of behavior‑management strategies is necessary
- Ability to implement behavior plans and individual education plans is needed
- Willingness to assist with feeding/toileting may be necessary
- Willingness to learn and use physical restraint and Safety Care strategies
- Experience working with young children
- Ability to use ABA discrete‑trial instruction
- Experience working in a program for children with emotional disabilities and autism
- $21.47 – $28.36 hourly, depending on certification level and experience
