Job Summary
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).
Responsibilities- Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
- Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
- Includes Manufacturing Engineers.
- Direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Possess knowledge of best practices and integration with other areas, and awareness of market competition and differentiators.
- Use judgment and propose solutions outside set parameters to address complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and interdependent production cycles.
- Use technical experience and analytical thinking.
- Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Lead small projects with low risk and resource requirements.
- Explain information and develop skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
- "Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least six years of experience in manufacturing."
- "Minimum of two years of experience in Engineering."
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.

- Pay range between $91,700.00 and $, with geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% in certain areas.
