CNC Process Engineer

Job Description Summary

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods to support safety, delivery, cost (SQDC) priorities.
• Develop in‑depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish own work.
• In‑depth understanding of how the work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Use judgment to propose solutions outside set parameters, with guidance.
• Apply prior experience and on‑the‑job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Apply technical skills and analytic thinking to problem solving.
• Leverage multiple internal sources beyond own team to arrive at decisions.
• Act as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal and time‑management skills.
• Participate in monthly Lean Kaizen events to support the Lean Roadmap.
• Support New Product Introduction.
• Support CNC processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing or operations experience).
• Minimum of 1 year of CNC experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Basic project management skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with NC Programming/CAM.

• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.

• Pay range between $68,500.00 and $, with geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas; specific pay may vary by experience, education, and skill set.
