Experienced Finance Manager Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Offer vehicle financing to customers, and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products including vehicle service contracts, gap insurance, etc.
• Take all credit applications and procure appropriate financing options for customers.
• Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in the transactions.
• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance and insurance.
• Train and provide the sales team with information on finance programs and the benefits of financing and various protection plans.
• Maintain up-to-date manual including current lender rates and incentives, prices on all Finance products, and any other pertinent information.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with several lending sources.
• Finalize all pertinent paperwork and establish relevant processes to ensure punctual funding of loans.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Experienced Finance Manager Knowledge

• Computers and Electronics – Basic knowledge of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office applications, Routeone, Reynolds and Reynolds, etc.
• Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

Experienced Finance Manager Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a dealership Finance Department, selling of financial services, or auto sales not required but preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and driving record that adhere to company standard.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to the dealership standards.
