The Maine Department of Environmental Protection seeks candidates for an Environmental Specialist III in Bangor. This position conducts licensing, compliance and technical assistance work related to solid waste facilities, including landfills, transfer stations, processing facilities and municipal solid waste incinerators.
It also covers the non-hazardous waste transporter and biomedical waste programs and supports fire training burn authorizations.
