Adult​/Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a unique role that is split between our Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services. This is a 0.4 FTE (16 hours/week) opportunity and will require candidates to have experience in both areas.

Details:

* Schedule:

weekends only (Saturday and Sunday), 8 hours/day, on-site

* Candidates must have solid clinical, teaching, and leadership skills and be able to function as a resource and preceptor for fellow staff

* Collaborate with the Medical Directors of the Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services as well as other psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and techs

* Perform diagnostic evaluations, initiate treatment interventions, provide follow-up evaluations as indicated, and lead interdisciplinary team meetings
