WHY WENDY'SAs General Manager, you oversee all people and operations for your Wendy’s restaurant. We are counting on you to create and sustain a fun, inviting work environment and to model Wendy’s core values every day.

You and your leadership team will work together to create a culture of consistency and performance to drive customer service, training, development, sales & profit growth, and accountability across the entire restaurant team. You run the show, and you will be responsible for managing the P&L to control costs and achieve specified profit targets by identifying areas of opportunity in revenue growth, customer service and process improvement.

General Managers provide direction, training and the expertise required to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded, and each shift they oversee achieves its business goals.

Under the direction of a District Manager, the General Manager is responsible for the restaurant’s daily operations, including, but not limited to:
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are metWhat you bring to the table:
• 2 years+ experience (high volume food service concepts preferred)
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends/holidays
• Valid DL in good standing & access to reliable transportation
• Consent to background screening
• HS diploma or equivalent & possess all documents required by state and federal law
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented, customer focused
• A commitment to promoting proper procedures and a culture of food safety
