Support Operator - B Shift

Job Description

• Operate equipment including saws, polishers, grinders, hand tools, manual milling machines
• Polish and/or rework parts
• Chip cart removal/exchange
• Gauge collection/return
• Perform material handling duties as required
• Follow standard escalation process
• Keep workstation Kanban stocked
• Adhere to and follow standard work
• Complete training/certification as required
• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions
• Saw parts
• Fixture setup/prep
• Tool changes/setup/setting
• Ensure machine fluids are full, coordinate emptying as needed
• Perform water spider preventative maintenance (WPM)
• Safely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment
• Provide production line support (i.e., support operator)
• Participate in process improvements and other activities to support the Bangor team and site goals
• Communicate effectively and work well with others
• Maintain accurate written and computer records
• Complete monthly/annual online training as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma / GED

• Physical:
  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work B shift (Monday - Thursday; 3:30 PM – 2 AM)

Pay Rate:
The starting pay for this position is $27.69 per hour. Eligible for a 10% Night Shift Bonus. This posting is expected to close February 24, 2025.
