Support Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including, but not limited to, saws, polishers, grinders, hand tools, and manual milling machines.
• Polish and/or rework parts.
• Chip cart removal/exchange.
• Gauge collection/return.
• Perform material handling duties as required.
• Follow standard escalation process.
• Keep workstation kanban stocked.
• Adhere to and follow standard work procedures.
• Complete training/certification as required.
• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
• Perform saw parts fixture setup/prep.
• Tool changes/setup/setting.
• Ensure machine fluids are full, coordinate emptying as needed.
• Perform water spider preventative maintenance (WPM).
• Safely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment.
• Provide production line support (i.e., support operator).
• Participate in process improvements and other activities, as required, to support the Bangor team and site goals.
• Communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Maintain accurate written and computer records.
• Complete monthly/annual online training as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Physical:
  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodations.

• A: 5AM – 3:30PM (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu)
• B: 3:30PM – 2AM (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu)
• C: 6AM – 6:30PM (Fri, Sat, Sun)
• D: 6PM – 6:30AM (Fri, Sat, Sun)

The starting pay for this position is $27.69 per hour.
