We are hiring experienced CNC Programming Contractors to support complex manufacturing operations in a high‑precision, heavy‑manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong hands‑on CNC programming experience across Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma machine controls
, including advanced macro‑based programming such as Fanuc Macro B, Okuma Macros, Siemens Macros, and Renishaw probing macros
.
The selected candidates will develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and verify CNC programs for large‑scale, complex components and will work closely with manufacturing engineering and shop floor teams to improve machining efficiency, accuracy, safety, quality, and production reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000
, or similar CAD/CAM platforms. - Program for multi‑axis milling, turning, and/or grinding applications.
- Verify CNC programs before shop floor release using Vericut or similar verification software.
- Provide daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support to operators and manufacturing teams.
- Support new machine startups, rebuilt machine startups, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with CNC‑related operator training and manufacturing engineering support.
- Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
- Create and maintain workstation instructions, operator standard work, inspection documentation, and quality documentation.
- Establish tooling consumption rates and minimum inventory requirements.
- Lead or support process improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
- At least 2 additional years of manufacturing or operations experience.
- Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or shop floor environment.
- Experience with CNC programming, troubleshooting, and machining processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma CNC controls
. - Strong experience with Fanuc Macro B, Okuma Macros, Siemens Macros, and Renishaw probing macros
. - Experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000
, Inventor, NX, or other 3D modeling/CAM software. - Experience using Vericut for CNC program verification.
- Experience machining exotic materials and/or large‑scale components.
- Basic understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, organization, and process discipline.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical manufacturing issues.
- Project management experience is a plus.
