Shipping & Receiving Associate – Training Available for Right Candidate. Pay Rate: $17/hr schedule:
Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm. Assignment Length:

We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a growing client in Bangor that supports airline food logistics and production. Join a small, close‑knit team with a central location and perks like free lunch on Fridays.

• Prepare and organize work areas, review orders, and prioritize daily shipment schedules.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; check for damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Assemble airline food orders, verifying quantity, type, and destination accuracy.
• Pack, label, and palletize outgoing shipments; prepare loads for transport.
• Maintain inventory records and organize stock across storage areas, including cold storage.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts to move products throughout the facility.
• Support food production, packing, and loading activities as needed throughout the day.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse/manufacturing preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math and reading skills for order verification.
• Must follow strict food safety guidelines (no jewelry, perfume, makeup, nail polish, etc.) and adhere to HACCP standards.
