Production Associate

Job Overview

Johnson Service Group has an immediate need in Bangor, Maine for a Production Associate - Material Handler. This is scheduled to be a 2+ Month temporary assignment, 40+ hours a week. This position requires regular lifting of 40 lbs.

Payrate: $17/Hr.

• Manually operates and monitors assigned lines, bagging and palletizing equipment, materials, and finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation.
• Coordinates the movement of product from the production lines to the skids.
• Manually stacks finished product onto pallets.
• Examines product for quality and ensures all Food Safety Handling Procedures are followed.
• Records daily logs of packages, bags, and wasted packaging material.
• Inspects julian date/lot codes for accuracy and legibility.
• Adopts a culture of cleanliness and safety in the work environment.
