Second-Shift Production Manager

Join Maine Recycling Corporation (MRC) as we are launching an exciting new Bottle Bill processing facility in Bangor! We are seeking a hands‑on, night‑shift Production Manager to help drive safety, efficiency, and team development in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Full-time.

Monday‑Friday. 4:00pm–1:00am (depending on operational needs and volume).

• Ensure all safety standards are taught, followed, and enforced consistently.
• Lead and support a team of production employees (bag dumpers, machine operators, forklift operators, etc.) of up to 10 employees.
• Assign work areas, cross‑train employees, and maintain regular communication with staff.
• Step into operational roles as needed to support production.
• Communicate issues, concerns, and opportunities to the Operations Manager.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
• Track, analyze, and report production and performance metrics.

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience (industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse environments preferred).
• Forklift experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and people‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment.
• Maintenance experience is a plus.
