Manufacturing Engineer - CNC/CAM Programming Pay Rate: $40-$48/hr

Open-ended with potential for hire Our client is seeking multiple Manufacturing Engineers - CNC/CAM Programming to support advanced manufacturing operations in Bangor.

These opportunities offer competitive pay of $40-$48/hr and are open-ended assignments with potential for permanent hire. This is an exciting opportunity for engineering professionals with strong CNC programming expertise to work on large-scale, high-precision manufacturing projects, utilizing advanced CAD/CAM technologies, complex machine controls, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Typical Daily Duties
  • Develop, optimize, verify, and troubleshoot CNC programs for Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma machine controls using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, Vericut, and related software
  • Improve manufacturing processes through tooling optimization, macro programming, Lean methodologies, and production efficiency initiatives
  • Create and maintain operator standard work, quality and inspection documentation, tooling consumption standards, and inventory requirements to support production readiness
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, plus an additional 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience
  • Hands-on experience with CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, manufacturing processes, and machining complex components in a production environment
  • Strong communication, project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with knowledge of GD&T, 3D modeling software, and Lean manufacturing principles
