We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support complex manufacturing operations involving large-scale, high-precision components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating CNC programs while driving improvements in machining efficiency, quality, and process reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM software.
- Program and support multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding operations.
- Verify CNC programs using Vericut prior to shop-floor release.
- Provide programming support, troubleshooting, and operator training during machine startups and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to optimize machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
- Create work instructions, setup documentation, inspection requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Okuma controls.
- Hands-on experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM platforms.
- Experience with CNC program verification using Vericut.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining processes and support shop-floor operations.
- Experience with Fanuc Macro B, Siemens Macros, Okuma Macros, and Renishaw probing routines.
- Multi-axis machining experience (4-axis/5-axis).
- Experience machining exotic materials such as Inconel, Titanium, and specialty alloys.
- Background in heavy manufacturing, aerospace, energy, defense, or industrial equipment industries.
Knowledge of GD&T and Lean Manufacturing principles.
