As a CNC Programming Contractor, you will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and verifying CNC programs for machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma. You will utilize CAD/CAM platforms including Mastercam, Siemens NX, and Esprit 2000, and verification software like Vericut to enhance machining efficiency, accuracy, and process reliability. Your expertise will be vital in working with exotic materials and large-scale components.

• Generate and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or other software.
• Verify new CNC programs utilizing Vericut before shop floor release.
• Provide CNC-related support and operator training for new or improved processes.
• Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
• Create and support workstation instructions for CNC-related issues.
• Lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members and work independently in a high-precision environment.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
• At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Proficiency in CNC Mastercam and VERICUT software.

• Experience with Fanuc CNC Control and high-level machine tool controls.
• Familiarity with multiple machine controls including Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, and Siemens Sinumerik ONE.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and 3D modeling software.
• Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
