Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Charge Nurse role in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Day shift position, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM,

• 13-week assignment,

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) setting,

• Local candidates are accepted for this position,

Job Requirements

• Active State of Maine or Compact RN license, currently in hand,

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required,

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required,

• Associate's Degree (2-year college) in Nursing required,

• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Serves as Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and unit resource, with administrative backup support in the Director's absence,

• Coordinates and directs total nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care,

• Participates in patient/resident and family education and works collaboratively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary team members,

• Maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with facility policies,
