Title: RN - Charge Nurse (Long-Term Care / Rehabilitation)
Location: Bangor, Maine
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Charge Nurse in a Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation setting. The RN will provide leadership, coordinate patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident-centered care while supporting daily clinical operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee total nursing care for assigned residents/patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
- Direct, guide, and support nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
- Serve as a clinical resource and leader during assigned shifts
- Assist with patient and family education
- Monitor patient progress and ensure quality care standards are maintained
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, patient safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
- Support administrative and operational functions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Active Maine RN License or Compact RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
- Holiday coverage may be required
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment
- Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation experience preferred
