• Provide direct patient care in the OR environment under approved scope per the Maine Board of Nursing and hospital policies.
• Support perioperative processes including preoperative assessment, monitoring, and postoperative care in alignment with unit protocols.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards; administer medications and monitor responses per orders.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse for shift planning, supervision, and efficient unit flow.
• Document care accurately and timely; communicate changes in patient status to the team.
• Adapt to the perioperative workflow with attention to patient safety, infection control, and patient comfort.

• Current Maine RN license (active)
• BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
  
  Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with state mandate
• Ability to work in a hospital OR setting as a travel nurse

• Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid
