Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN performs patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and St. Joseph Hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the shift the RN is assigned.

Travelers who live within 50 miles of the facility will receive a $10/hr lower local rate.

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. St. Joseph's can cancel up to 3 shifts per 13‑week contract.

• Education:
  
  Current Maine RN license; BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required.
• Experience:
  
  Telemetry experience preferred.

  Skills:
  
  Must be a team player, have strong communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task.
• Flexible hours.

• Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
