We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable Per Diem CNA-Ms to provide exceptional care to our veteran residents. This position offers the flexibility to pick up shifts while working alongside a supportive team dedicated to providing outstanding long-term care.
As a CNA-M, you will:
- Safely administer medications and prescribed treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication control records.
- Observe residents for side effects, changes in condition, or medication refusals, and promptly report concerns to the Charge Nurse.
- Provide high-quality resident care while promoting safety, dignity, and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in medication audits and quality improvement activities.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other care team members to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification on the State of Maine Registry.
- Approved Medication Technician (CNA-M) on the State of Maine Registry of Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills.
