Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Assignment Details: 13 weeks contract, guaranteed hours: 40

• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Current RN license in the state or compact license
• BLS certification current or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification current or within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification current or within 1 year of hire
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Must be a team player

• Provide patient care functions in compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Perform clinical assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the clinical leader.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Orientation may involve up to 16 unpaid hours. Please note that contracts can be canceled up to 3 shifts within a 13 week period for operational needs.
