Job Description:

Join a rewarding travel nurse assignment in Bangor, Maine, as a skilled RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This 13-week contract offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts, caring for cardiac and medical patients, including post-op general surgery, trauma, and stabilization of complex patients like those with strokes or respiratory failure. You’ll engage in patient monitoring, trach care, wound management, and interpreting cardiac rhythms, all while supporting a Level II Trauma Center with 411 beds.

The role encourages confidence with ventilated patients, neuro checks, and various drips and devices. Enjoy a professional team environment with shared responsibilities, including phlebotomy and resource nursing, ensuring your skills are maximized in a fast-paced, yet supportive setting. This assignment stands out for its diverse patient population and the opportunity to develop expertise in trauma and critical care, all within a hospital equipped with advanced monitoring and medication systems.
