Job Description Summary
This role involves reviewing product quality related to the manufacturing process, directly impacting individual work and the work of team members. The position requires executing standard operational and technical tasks, generally following established instructions and routines, with flexibility to adjust the task sequence as needed to adapt to changing work conditions.
Roles and Responsibilities- Ownership encompasses both quality assurance and quality control for products and services.
- Create and maintain essential quality documents such as control plans, inspection sheets, standardized work instructions, and knowledge of process failure mode & effects analysis (PFMEA).
- Apply specialized knowledge of technical discipline to implement policies and strategies, often supporting roles in technical fields while building advanced expertise.
- Use a solid understanding of key business drivers to effectively complete tasks and contribute to team objectives, demonstrating a clear understanding of how individual and team work integrates with other teams to support overall business goals.
- Resolve technical issues within established procedures using sound judgment, consulting with senior team members for guidance on issues outside of standard parameters.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and guide junior team members; in customer‑facing roles, build solid relationships and act as the primary interface between the customer and GE.
- Communicate technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality or Continuous Improvement.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience leading teams or projects effectively.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Relocation available within the US.
- Ability to use systematic approaches to problem solve (e.g., 8‑D, Fault Tree Analysis, design of experiments, PDCA, root‑cause analysis).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production quality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and inspire a team.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Knowledgeable with GD&T, print reading, measurement systems analysis, and process assessment tools such as SPC.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to learn and grow.

Compensation and BenefitsPay range: $81,700.00 – $, with geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130% in certain areas. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
