Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

We are hiring a Quality Control Assistant for a day shift role with our client, a growing food production company offering long-term career potential. This position pays $18.00/hour and is temp-to-hire

Typical daily duties:
  • Monitoring food production activities to ensure quality and food safety standards are met
  • Conducting pre-operational and operational inspections throughout the facility
  • Reviewing and completing documentation related to food temperatures, cooking, chilling, and product handling
  • Generating and distributing daily worksheets, labels, and production documents
  • Verifying labeling accuracy and assisting with inventory reconciliation
  • Communicating with production staff and serving as a liaison between production and office teams
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office and other basic software programs to complete quality assurance tasks
  • Assisting on production lines and supporting product movement between production, cooling, and storage areas as needed
What we're looking for:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong motivation and ability to remain productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable being on your feet for 90%-100% of the workday
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Previous food manufacturing or HACCP experience is helpful but not required
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
