• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted, following corporate guidelines for resets and seasonal updates
• Manages the opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth daily operation
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and provide excellent customer service
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines, ensuring promotional materials are displayed properly and updated regularly; ensures the execution of company Inventory Integrity process

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person or by phone; exchange accurate information
• Frequently move across the sales floor to assist customers and retrieve/put away merchandise
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and may include overnight shifts and travel as required
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
