- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps and forklift spotting procedures.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including claims and returns, zoning, receiving, stocking, display setup, and pricing.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues.
- Follow Company policies related to food handling, operating and sanitizing equipment, cold chain procedures, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Keep freezers, coolers, and deli areas clean and sanitized, monitor fans, drains, and doors for proper operation, and report issues to management.
- Ensure high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members, verify expiration dates, dispose of lower‑quality items, and pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
