What You'll Do
  • Provide member service and maintain the checkout area.
  • Resolve member issues and concerns and promote Sam's Club products and services.
  • Provide guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
  • Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy.
  • Follow company safety standards, procedures and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
  • Handle merchandise properly and report unsafe situations to management.
  • Maintain entrance areas: acknowledge members, verify cards and address member needs.
  • Assist members in purchasing decisions, locating merchandise and transporting items while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
  • Maintain exit areas, review member receipts and safeguard club assets.
  • Train Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology and program rollouts.
  • Execute emergency response procedures and comply with security & safety practices.
  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained per policies, including handling returns and identifying shrink or damage.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers and co‑workers.
  • Respect diversity, build strong relationships, and serve customers and members by putting the customer first.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

  • Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (for example, cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.
