Position Summary

Customer Success Managers (CSM) are the frontline for Clayton Home Building Group, building trusted partnerships between customers and our Home Building and Supply Facilities to provide value‑added services that support sustainable growth and brand loyalty. The role combines sales and market growth practices with world‑class customer experience, training customers to improve collective business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop market and product strategy by studying markets, share potentials, and growth opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Execute sales and sales growth in assigned markets to meet budgeted production run rate.
  • Understand target audiences—attitudes, behaviors, needs, and engagement opportunities.
  • Manage product knowledge, merchandising, inventory management, and promotions; make positive adjustments when needed.
  • Elevate brand perception through customer focus.
  • Oversee implementation of training in technology, social media, service and parts processes, consumer insights, and other marketing forms.
  • Prospect new avenues to build market share while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service and brand loyalty.
  • Coaching and idea sharing with retail partners and home building facilities.
  • Organize sales responsibilities to maximize clarity, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Identify business process improvements to increase brand loyalty and drive referrals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support production team with order accuracy.
  • Conduct visits to retail partners for hands‑on training and product updates.
  • Stay current on industry trends through competitive analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree preferred (business, sales, economics, marketing, math, or related);
    Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing research, market intelligence, or consulting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and business ethics.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Motivated, self‑starter, willing to learn, hard‑working, determined, and assertive.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Demands

Consistently operate a computer and office equipment; communicate via phone, email, and in person; work primarily in an indoor, temperature‑controlled, sealed‑window office environment. Work involves sitting, standing, and occasional travel up to 50%.
