, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to earn more by picking up additional shifts.
Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
How This Role Works- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earnings and allowing you to gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next; it’s up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions when required, and report any policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate site representatives.
- Support site operations by maintaining accurate activity logs, completing incident reports, and communicating clearly during shift handoffs regarding security-related events and ongoing concerns.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
