Seaboard Drilling, LLC is currently accepting applications for an immediate opening for a DRILLING APPRENTICE to be based in our Bangor, Maine office. Check out our You Tube channel for videos that depict this position and our operations -

This is a full‑time position, primarily M‑F schedule. The candidate will work as a Drilling Assistant to support the operation of a test boring drill rig with an experienced Driller. Tasks include safely assisting the driller with all aspects of drill rig operation and maintenance including soil boring and sampling, rock coring, measuring water levels, installing monitoring wells, installation of instrumentation, carrying and handling tooling, and operation and basic maintenance of heavy equipment including drill rigs, medium‑duty trucks, trailers and ATV.

The role requires familiarity working with and around heavy equipment and operations. The candidate must be able to lift and carry heavy tooling and supplies up to 100 pounds, work outdoors in all seasons, temperatures, and conditions, and be willing to travel to short‑term work sites throughout New England with occasional overnight stays and night work. If you have a CDL‑A/Class A license, a CDL A Drailling Apprentice position is also available.

High school diploma preferred.
