Electro Mechanical Technician

Job Description Summary

Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, CNC and PLC repairs and troubleshooting on assigned equipment and facilities to required standards and codes. Perform new machine installation and existing machine relocation. Follow drawings, schematics, and detailed verbal and written instructions. Maintain tools and required records in the maintenance management system(s). Perform material handling duties and required rigging tasks, including forklift, aerial lift, and crane operation.

Interpret detailed NC schematics. Perform plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, and welding as required. May have to drive company vehicle, as needed. Communicate effectively and work well with others. Maintain accurate written and computer records. Use gauging equipment, perform calculations, and use computers as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Execute material handling and rigging tasks, including forklift, aerial lift, and crane operation.
• Interpret NC schematics.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, and welding work.
• Drive company vehicle as required.
• Communicate effectively, maintain written records, and use computers and gauging equipment.
• Perform calculations and other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Desired: 2‑year post‑secondary degree in Electrical Automation Technology or equivalent.
• Desired: 5 years of maintenance experience, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC work.
• Desired:
  Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Desired:
  National Electrical Code course within the last year and renewal status.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).

• A: 5:00AM – 3:30PM (Mon–Thu)
• B: 3:30PM – 2:00AM (Mon–Thu)
• C: 6:00AM – 6:30PM (Fri–Sun)
• D: 6:00PM – 6:30AM (Fri–Sun)
