The Maintenance Mechanic II role performs advanced duties in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, and mechanical fields to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees. Responds to maintenance emergencies, performs preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education:

    Two years trade school or equivalent training and experience required.
  • License/

    Certifications:

    State license as a Boiler Operator 3rd or 4th class (or Stationary Steam Engineer), or State licensure as Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Plumber, or HVAC certification required;
    Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Experience:

    Two years of related experience required.
