The UH-60 Helicopter Repairer is primarily responsible for the maintenance of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. With hundreds of Army missions depending on these helicopters, UH-60 Helicopter Repairers must ensure that all of them are safe and ready to fly.
Job training for a UH-60 Helicopter Repairer includes 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction. This role can lead to civilian airframe or powerplant mechanic careers.
