External Landscape and Grounds Services Technician responsible for maintaining parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas in accordance with DOT and Walmart quality and safety standards. Works with specialized equipment and vehicles, collaborates with team members, and follows all safety, security, and environmental protocols.

• Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Clean driving record with no DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving convictions involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three (3) years if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre‑hire.
• Ability to read and speak in English.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.

• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre‑hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90‑day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area.
• Experience in third‑party management.
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required.
