Facilities Maintenance Technician

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician
with experience in diesel mechanics and general building maintenance. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems, grounds, vehicles, generators, and diesel-powered equipment while responding to routine and emergency maintenance needs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can diagnose mechanical issues, perform building repairs, and keep our operations safe, reliable, and running efficiently.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and diesel-powered vehicles or machinery
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, generators, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related equipment
• Complete general building repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC-related tasks
• Inspect and maintain facility systems, tools, safety equipment, and grounds
• Repair doors, locks, lighting, fixtures, walls, flooring, and other building components
• Perform routine inspections and document completed work
• Respond to equipment failures and urgent facility maintenance requests
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable environmental requirements

• Experience in facilities maintenance, diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, or a related trade
• Working knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Ability to perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance records
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

• Technical training or certification in diesel technology, building maintenance, or a related field
• Experience maintaining generators or emergency power systems
  
  Welding or fabrication experience
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry experience

Pay Range:$22.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
