26-27 Strong Girls United Social Media & Storytelling VISTA

Strong Girls United (SGU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls to be strong, confident, and resilient through sport, mentorship, and mental health programming. Our mission is to provide access, build confidence, and create leadership opportunities for girls and women who may not otherwise have them. Through our Strong Girls U programs and events, we partner with colleges and local organizations to connect female student‑athletes with young girls, creating powerful mentorship experiences that foster belonging, resilience, and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage SGU’s social media channels and create engaging content across platforms.
  • Build systems such as content calendars, workflows, and toolkits to support consistent and scalable communication across regions.
  • Elevate the voices of partners and participants, increasing visibility and expanding reach to new communities.
  • Support campaigns that drive engagement and awareness.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate with staff and partners to elevate storytelling across regions.
  • Participate as a member of the 26‑27 Coach Across America national VISTA cohort of 64 members.
