Our Job Corps programs provide life‑changing services that help young people succeed in school, obtain good jobs, excel in their chosen fields, and serve as contributing members of their communities. We accomplish this through an intense commitment to safety, quality service, excellence, and partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Meet at least bi‑weekly with assigned students.
  • Manage student incidents to protect all students from harm.
  • Conduct individual meetings with students to address issues and express plans to resolve problems.
  • Notify other staff to coordinate services by memo, phone, or personal conversation.
  • Ensure dormitory inspections yield acceptable ratings.
  • Actively participate in events, demonstrating professional behaviours for students and modelling employment skills.
  • Complete assignments within time frames and rarely need correction.
  • Maintain student folders with up‑to‑date history of services to ensure success in attaining both long and short‑term goals.
  • Ensure student data is accurate and submitted with established time frames.
  • Maintain medical and AWOL removal logs indicating all procedures followed within established time frames.
  • Make regular entries in dorm logs indicating conditions of dorms during rounds.
  • Ensure all accountability documents and reports are accurate and submitted within established time frames.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college in Human Services area preferred.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
